Dr. Vojsilav Ćupurdija was born in Kragujevac in 1976, where he completed primary and secondary school, as well as the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kragujevac. He began his career at the Department of Medical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine in 2004, and since 2006 he has been working at the Clinic for Pulmonology at the University Clinical Center of Kragujevac. He completed his specialization in Internal Medicine in 2011 and his subspecialization in Pulmonology in 2020.
Since 2014, he has also been working again at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Kragujevac, where he currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine. In 2015, he defended his doctoral dissertation titled “Determinants of Outpatient Pneumonia Treatment Costs” at the same faculty. He also completed a Specialist Training in Organizational Development at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.
He is the author of numerous scientific papers and publications in the fields of pulmonology and pharmacology/pharmacoeconomics. His main professional interests include obstructive and inflammatory lung diseases, pulmonary function, and sleep-related breathing disorders. He speaks English and has working knowledge of French and Spanish.
